PokerStars launches EPT Awards

The awards will be held on the eve of the EPT unfolding event in Barcelona with a jubilee that will respectability the best players from the all-out EPT Season 4. PokerStars pro Daniel Negreanu will host the commencement alongside Gloria Balding.

The EPT Awards will give out awards in seven categories. Five of those categories will be incontestable by a sessions of judges, but two will be selected by a vote.

The five categories nature judged are Best Newcomer, Best Performance, Best Overseas Player, Best PokerStars Qualifier and Player of the Year. Play now PokerStars. The players in meditation for each pigeonhole are:

The judges on the skin to turn the scale the winners are John Duthie, EPT the executive producer; Lee Jones, sometime PokerStars cardroom director; Victoria Coren, scenarist, TV presenter and Team PokerStars Pro; and John Caldwell.

The unexacting public will be PR to direct the People's Choice Award at the EPT.com Web site; the radiocommunication will also vote on the Poker Writers' Award in virtue of the site.

John Duthie described the People's Choice Awards as "the publicly's capriciousness to pick any tackle who competed in EPT Season 4 to win this reputable award."

The Poker Writers' Award allows accredited communication theory members to vote for the contender from Season 4 they most enjoyed definitive work about or interviewing in the scour of the housebreak. Voting is open until Aug. 29.

The awards commencement will take precinct Sept. 9 in the Opium Mar in Barcelona. The EPT Barcelona Open will tackle Sept. 10 at the Gran Casino Barcelona and play until Sept. 14.
